Why "Just One Life" exists

The full story and why everything changes in 3 days.

Hey there,

In 3 days, we launch the biggest thing Elevenstoic has ever built.

But before that happens, I need to tell you the full story.

Not the version I usually share. The real one.

The one about why any of this exists. Why "Just One Life" isn't just a tagline.

And why I'm asking you to be part of what's coming.

I've never shared this publicly. Not like this.

I've never gone deep because honestly, I'm still afraid to.

It's vulnerable. It's painful. And there's a part of me that wants to keep it private.

But this is the story of how "Just One Life" became my philosophy. And why I've spent years sharing it with millions of people.

So here it is.

The Person Who Changed Everything

My sister was sick her entire life.

From the day she was born, her body was limited in ways most people couldn't imagine.

She couldn't walk. She needed help with things you and I do without thinking.

But despite everything holding her back, she lived harder than anyone I've ever known.

She went to over 30 concerts. Wrote a book. Started projects that seemed impossible. Convinced our parents to take the family on trips and adventures even when it was difficult.

She was always the one initiating. Always pushing. Always saying yes.

Because somewhere deep inside, she knew.

She was, and still is, the most inspiring person I've ever met.

The Truth No One Said Out Loud

We all knew her time was limited.

It was an unspoken truth in our family. Too painful to talk about directly. But you could feel it in the urgency she had for everything.

In the way she never said "maybe later" or "next time."

She didn't have the luxury of procrastination. Of waiting for the perfect moment.

So she didn't.

While everyone else was waiting for life to start, she was living it.

And I was watching. Seeing someone physically limited live with more intensity than anyone who could do anything they wanted.

What She Taught Me

Watching her live that way changed my way of seeing life.

The way she approached every day. The energy. The refusal to wait. The intensity.

That was the "Just One Life" philosophy before I had words for it.

I felt it and I lived it by it my entire life but I couldn't articulate it.

She showed me that most people are free to do anything but trapped by "what if" and "maybe later."

While she was physically limited but lived with more freedom than anyone I knew.

That lesson was in me the whole time. Shaping how I wanted to live. Pushing me to want more.

But I couldn't put it into words yet.

Not until I started creating content. Not until I had to explain why I was doing what I was doing.

That's when the philosophy I'd been living finally had language.

That's when "Just One Life" became something I could share with the world.

Why Elevenstoic Exists

I started creating content because I wanted more.

More from life. More experiences. More than just going through the life hoping that someday I can be happy.

Over time, as I created more and more content and learned things about myself, it became clearer.

The philosophy I was living became something I could finally put into words.

And I realized where it came from.

From watching her. From seeing someone who knew time was limited live with that intensity I was craving.

She showed me what "more" actually looked like.

Once you see the difference between people who remember their time is limited and people who forget - you can't unsee it.

Elevenstoic has grown into something bigger than I could ever imagine. Over a million people following. Hundreds of millions of views.

But it all comes back to the same mission.

Help people actually live the "Just One Life" philosophy like she did.

With energy. With intention. Without wasting the time they have.

What We Built

Here's the problem.

Almost everyone is addicted to their phone. Including me.

And if we don't change anything, we literally spend entire years staring at a screen in our lifetime.

5, 6, even 7 hours a day. It's not normal. But it feels normal.

You have this voice inside your head telling you what you need to do with your life.

But your phone takes control and makes you forget.

And suddenly the day is gone. Then the month. Then the year. And nothing changed.

You didn't do what you planned. You scrolled instead. You forgot.

And the worst part? You watch yourself do it. Every single day. You feel stuck in the loop. But you can't break it.

So here's what we did.

We built something that uses your phone addiction against itself.

You unlock your phone dozens of times a day. Right now, those moments pull you deeper into the trap.

We turn them into reminders instead.

Every unlock, you see a quote. Not generic motivation you scroll past and forget.

The Elevenstoic content that's already reached hundreds of millions of people. The truths that actually hit.

She couldn't forget because her time was visibly limited. You forget because you think you have forever.

This app makes forgetting impossible.

Every time you reach for distraction, you get a reminder instead. To wake up. To choose differently. To actually live.

This is how we break the loop. How we turn your biggest distraction into your daily reminder to live a life without fear.

In 3 days, it launches.

Why This Matters

This isn't just another app launch.

This is my way of making sure her lessons reach as many people as possible.

She would be proud of this. She would want to be part of it.

So here's what I'm asking.

In 3 days, when this launches, be part of it.

Not because you need another app. But because you need what she understood.

That you don't have unlimited time. That every day you wait is a day you lose.

If you've been on the waitlist, thank you. You'll be first.

If you haven't, join now. Be ready for when we launch in exactly 3 days from now.

You have time. Don’t waste it.

3 days.

Just one life,
Richard
